Last week I finally found ”real” mail at our new house! Not bills, or junk mail but honest to goodness mail – a package infact from my secret pal (now revealed to be Ruby!)
It felt just like Christmas all over again ;-D.
The package contained lots of amazing stuff…Swiss chocolates (quickly devoured by my DD), hand cream, Yarnharlot’s “Never not Knitting” desk calander, very cool knit-in-the-dark needles, a little crochet hook to pick up dropped stitches, a little sheep tape measure, a mini skein of Opal, a cake of deliciously soft merino/angora and to top it all of 2 cones of Habu. I have never seen this before, its AMAZING! Its a blend of merino and stainless steel!!!! Its so soft yet it has memory and is somewhat sculptable. This is definitely not something I would have ever picked for my self but now that its in my hands, I’m positively giddy with excitement to knit with it. I had no idea what to make with it but while browsing Ravelry I found this Kusha Kusha scarf . Its so beautiful and ethereal, I will be casting on for this ASAP (probably tonight!).
Thank you once again Ruby! SP13 has been wonderful!
Oh and I think Dante approves too…

What a ham, he loves sneaking into photos. And that guilty look on his face? … he’s just been caught eying the fluffy little sheep for himself
