Christmas Knitting and a great big Thanks!!!

Its all done.  Not that there were all that many recipients to knit for anyway.  The only one getting handknits for Christmas this year will be my mother.  I would love to knit for many more family members this year but alas I’m suffering from toddler fatigue.  Christmas vacation couldn’t start at a better time (ahem – tomorrow!!!).  So without further ado… here are mom’s Mad about Plaid socks…

You can read all about them here on ravelry if you so desire.

And while I’m writing about Christmas,  earlier this week I got an amazing gift in the mail from my Secret Pal.

What a fun surprise!  She sent me an skein of Noro Sock, which I’ve always wanted to try…I love its natural, rustic look.   She also sent me “the little box of Socks” – I love this book!  Great patterns and I love how portable the little pattern cards are…they’ll fit so nicely in my knitting bag.  And to round it all out there’s a cute hand-made tissue holder, a little Christmas Ornament and a little toy for Aryana.  She loved it of course and spent the whole day playing with it saying “POP!”.  Thanks so much Secret Spoiler!!!  Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
