This week I got an awesome package in the mail! A Yarnissima kit, La Digitessa pattern and Wollmeise (80/20 wool/nylon blend) in the La Digitessa colourway. I was so curious to find out what all the fuss for Wollmeise is about and it did included a pattern too, so I just had to splurge – right?! I’m really glad I did though and I just can’t wait to get my needles into the yarn. The package came at a great time too since December’s sockdown challenge is a Yarnissima pattern (guess what I’ll be knitting *wink*)! It came with lots of little goodies too, a couple of chocolates (one isn’t shown because my daughter instantly dug into it 
! ), some handmade tags, a bookmark etc. Very cute stuff, and it was all packaged so nicely. I love that it even came with a little laminated card for the chart to throw in the knitting bag. I love getting goodies in the mail!!!
Here’s a close up of the yarn, the picture doesn’t do it justice – its a really, rich and vibrant burgandy/red colour that is almost impossible to capture with my camera. I even tried taking it out on the balcony to get better lighting but this is the best I could do.
I seem to be all about reds this month as I also chose a very similar colou for December’s shipment from the 3IG Sock Yarnista club. Its called mulled wine and its on BFL!! I’m sooo excited for that one too!
